its like the first time i actually organized a bbq for my family and relatives and i seriously enjoy doing all these for the family. :)
one year in shanghai has made me cherish kinship so much more than anything else.
the sight of people losing their loved ones and family in the year of 2008 and made me realise the importance of being around for your loved ones.
and tts what made me take up the initiative to organize such an event for the family.
hurhurhur. and the returns for these efforts spent are really worth it.
*other than the fact that you have old fashioned aunties and even my mum saying '你真的会做阉这些东西meh？你做的东西有谁敢吃？"
wah piang eh. hear liao also dulan.but guess what in the end. everyone ate it all and even my mum said the sotong and prawns rocked big time. HAHAHAHA :D
yesyesyes. more family bbqs please and it was really great seeing everyone again.
the smile on everyone's face at the end of the gathering really made me feel that everyting effort's worth it.
waking up at 7am to buy prawns at changi village.
bargaining with the stingray uncle at the market nearby.
*and of course with the damn hao xiao uncle who said '给你30块就好了，反正你每次都是这里买的' when that was the first and only time i bought things from him. HAHA.
yes yes yes. that disgusting 150 bucks of chicken wings and chicken chop.
and how can i forget spending almost 200 bucks at ntuc and wud have probably died without dongchou and yanyi to help. HAHAH


my drunkard cousins who stayed up and chatted till 5am at the poolside. hurhurhur.

and how can a NYE celebration be without any bros? :)))). im really sorry to you guys coz im really busy and have to leave you guys around. a really solid bbq on me next time okay? : )))
