ERPs!
ever since the announcement of the erp a few months back.
there has been like seriously tonnes of debate whether the influx of ERP gantries will solve the problem of congestion.
hurhurhur. apparently not so leh.
before ERP started, 10thousand people drive to work.
after the ERP gantries come up, 10 thousand people still drive to work.
well, at least some got smarter and decides to drive down ERP-less roads like farrer road.
and guess what happens.
Farrer Road gets congested and i believe it will be soon before we have more gantries over those roads.
hurhurhur.
and the government gets more money.

Maybe in 2 years time, 2010, this will happen.


and urhhh. in 10 years, this ??


if the ERP-fever continues, i believe you will see this at bugis someday. HAHAHAHA.


IMO, having more ERPs won't help lahhhhhhhhhhhhh.
singaporeans will find new ways to beat the system.
why dont minister zhang share his views.

perhaps a better way would be to just better the public transport system like how they do in beijing (its only a 1RMB, 20cents SGD to travel from one end to the other). Upgrade public transportation and throw in a culture that public transportation is the way to go! Give out free 4D/TOTO tickets with every bus ride!!!!
