some more pictures before my connection dies on me.
hahah.
after potala palace, the next best thing about lhasa lies in the jokhang temple.
a temple of immense religious values.
thousands of buddhists circle round the temple everyday.
chanting scriptures and turning that round tibetan thingy.
(its actually called a 转经， every clockwise round you turn would mean reciting the scriptures embedded within that holy object)
and yesssssssss.
u get to see loadsa people kowtowing in front of the temple every morning, afternoon and even night lah. some come all the way from provinces far away just for this pilgrimage trip.
these peeps do not take plane,take train,take bus nor the car AND THEY DONT FREAKING WALK CAN.
they kowtow their way to lhasa. to potala palace. to the jokhang.
seriously. respect. :)

a little nearer look at the jokhang, i.e. 大昭寺。 btw. this is the place where the tibetan riots in March happened. 14th March 08. : ))).

i like this picture alot actually. HAHAHA. the sun . the pole and the scriptures :)))

on the top of the jokhang. roxxoe. and i quite like that 'bird-like' cloud in the background! woohooo! :))
