farmer zhang was invited by tonyboy to visit his hometown back at this lil town called 启东. just briefingly north of shanghai in the jiangsu province ler. : ))
it was pretty a disturbing week at work .
tonyboy was my best friend at work.
and seeing him tendering his resignation to timmyboy.
leaving e office during lunchtime was smth pretty sad.
but well. i guess duty calls.
his parents were not feeling well and they require him to be back home in order to take over the business.
fancy being ur own boss at the age of 25.
pretty cool eh? : )))
well i guess parting is always such sorrow.
and well.
no matter the distance.
we'll still keep in touch lah : ))

zyy's house was in such a horrible state the last few days due to fungus infection of the house walls. poor architecture caused moisture to seep thru the walls and fungus to grow ler. eww. but still . uncle liu was nice enuff to bring his workers and repaint the walls. yess. disgusting warring state of the house. but phewww. everything's finally in place ler. :)))


a voyage across the chang jiang towards jiangsu! wooohooooo! that sea transporter is pretty interesting lah. cars.lorries.buses load up that sea transporter and it goes . weeeeeeeeeeeee. across the chang jiang river. hahaha. its seriously smth you wont find in singapore :)))). singapore dont have such a long river for it lah. hahaha.

zyy immediately felt at home the moment he arrived in 启东.a great welcome dinner comprising 2 tables. 20 over people. and more than 15 dishes on every table. wah sehhh. everyone from the ahmah to the cousins and the lil kiddos came up one by one to greet me. it seriously feels like home : ))) .


it feels good to stay in the farmhouse once in a while. seeing greens everywhere.(well in fact. yellow too with all the 油菜花s everywhere). :))). and yes.the air is definitely fresher down here.u get all the chicken. the mehmehs.and a whole load of fish farms arnd. weeeeeee. definitely a place to relax arnd after a long week at work :))



planting rice is never fun.zyy finally sees what a farmer sees everyday.

muahaha. the chicken coop. chickens are allowed to roam around in the compound . they are sooo not caged chickens like those from malaysia lor! roam-aroud chickies roxxoe and hahah . u cud seriously see how happy they are : )))).yupsss! and uber delicious 10 course lunch at only 30sgd for the 4 of us : ))).zyy feels so loved and at home with uncle and auntie shen so seriously treating me like their son. i didnt get to pay a single cent for the whole trip. even when i offered to buy them this and that. uncle shen was seriously sweet enuff to buy me my coach ticket back. :))).



enough of collages. weee. i so seriously like this picture alot. the setting sun. the waves down changjiang. the ship. they just complement each other so well. and yess. things you dont get to see in singapore very often. :))

ahahhaha. enuff of this trip. it was seriously wonderful hanging out with the locals. hygiene and all may not be top notch comaparing to singapore / shanghai. but it feels really wonderful to hang out at such places once in a while. and i pretty like the concept of having a farmhouse with chalets for rent. u get all the freshest vegetables.un-antibioticed chickens and fishes reared naturally. can someone build such a farm in singapore? : ))))). pls pls pls . : ))))
